Craig LaBarge - Band Bio
So, who is this guy, anyhow??

I started playing guitar somewhere around age eleven. By the time I turned thirteen, I was playing bass guitar in my older brother's rock band, The Union of Sound. During my 3-year stint as the band's bass player, I honed my musical skills performing at fraternity parties, dances and clubs (some illegally, since I was under 18) throughout the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania. The band once backed up The Crystals (of "Da Do Ron Ron" fame) for a performance at a local venue. (My brush with fame!)

By the 70s, I had given up performing to pursue a non-musical career. During that time, I switched exclusively to acoustic guitar. My trusty Martin D-35 has been my constant companion for almost 35 years now. We're both beginning to show signs of wear.

From the very beginning, I've been writing songs. Admittedly, some of my early attempts weren't very good. Even though I gave up performing, I still continued to write over the years. I've had several songs signed with publishers, although none were ever recorded. Luckily, I kept my day job.

Today, I continue to write on a fairly regular basis. I just can't seem to stop the songs from coming out. I suppose I'll stop writing one of these days -- when they pry my old guitar from my cold, dead hands!
