admittedly not my usual musical preference, but i'm one to appreciate a good song for being a good song, regardless of genre.
I love the old-style country, 60s George Jones, kinda feel to it...bare bones and soul baring.
Great lyrics, and not a bad voice to boot.

Thumbs Up

Wow... great song! The lyrics are great/well written and a good melody. You know (as I think everyone does) I dig real drums vs. drum machine, but I like how you mixed it up. Good work, I look forward to hearing the other songs.

I got hints of early Eagles here. Really nice gentle melody, great vocals (a la Don Henley). I enjoyed this very much.

Ah the new country, I remember it well. This is really in the traditional folk rock style which influenced my music so profoundly. Taylor, Lightfoot, Simon, etc. I almost felt like I remember this even though it wasn't there. Somewhere along the line the style was embraced by the country music world. Now I'll have to go through all your tunes. Glad I heard this!

Great song.
Interesting melody and lyrics.
Most importantly the feel or vibe of the song is real and so connects on an emotional level.
Like the vocals and arrangement.
Cool.

I love these vox, it has so much variety, and you seem to always have a perfect tone for each moment.
That guitar is so soothing, I love the simple melodies/harmonies, they have such a great effect.
This sounds great every inch over, great, super high quality track.

Nice sentiment to the song. I think this is easy listening at it’s best and most creditable. I’m thinking of Jim Webb, Glen Campball, Galvaston etc.

I like the smooth acoustic guitar work. You have really good lyrics and melody on this one. I'm not a fan of that snare drum that pops in from time to time, but you have a real nice song here.

I just love the chord progression...
You sing this so well.. It's really got feel and character..
You have a slight nervousness in your voice which gives the song a true warnth.
This really is a great little song..
It's really difficult to come up with melodies like this.
It is sort of Eagleish, but that a compliment not a criticism..
Beatiful song and so well performed.. :)) (Very Happy)

Nice recording, not real shinny - I like the overall tone and texture of this and your other recordings, you seem to have a good ear for full complementary tones.catchy melody and words.Kinda brings me back to Jim Croce.

hey friend thanks a lot for the comment
this song is pretty amazing, in fact all your songs are pretty wonderful...honestly im not much for country and when i read your intro about meshing together country, blues, alternative i was a little skeptic but i really enjoy this... i can hear some country in your voice but its not too much like many country male singers, very very nice job, and extremely original!
