Another good song... I love the vocal melody and the backup vocals add a lot. I like the arrangement as well. I dig how you work the drum machine in this one. Of all the people's songs I've heard that have used a DM you are the best. I like how you change the high-hat clicks throughout the song. Great work!

You have a very poppy sound even with country. It is probably the instrumentation. Are you playing with some type of electronic drums? They have a very light sound in the recording and almost synthetic which is probably where some of the poppishness sound is coming from.

Love the little incidental harmonies. They add just enough depth in appropriate sounding places. I love that you actually pick the notes rather than the more usual strumming patterns that are more common in a lot of current music.

There's that old school sound again. What mastery. I hear a lifetime of experience in your music. I hear endless new memories.
I'm really glad you are around.
I agree with Ellis, you have a great pop sound. It's a beautifully blended style. Real feeling and expression in your voice.
I'm enjoying this immensely.

wonderful arrangement, great melody carrying this along.
I love these lyrics, reminds me of Knopfler with the character development and chorus style.
Great style in this, its very unique, though it borrows form a lot of what I hear as 70's folk.
Your voice is incredible, especially after 2.30, that's great control.
Once again I love that chorus, it moves in a really pleasant way with the guitar.

You really do write some great little melodies..
Very easy to listen to and you just get carried along.
It has an uncoplicated but interesting structure..
Not an easy concept to achieve.
Production couldn't be better..
:)) (Very Happy)
